Orangered Notifier for Reddit App Reviews

Best Reddit notifier app for Mac! Not sure if there are others, but if there are, this is the best! The menubar icons lightsup IMMEDIATELY when you get those orangereds! COULDN’T ASK FOR MORE!!!

I wish there were a few more settings. Like, I dont need to see every piece of Orangered mail that comes through, but would still love to see Modmail and Modque stuff. However, fantastic app that does everything it promises well.

Priced right, does what it says on the box. Lovely!

Knowing immediately that I have moderator mail is extremely helpful. Before installing this app, sometimes days would go by before I would notice a new redditor had made a really good post and I felt terrible! This and the ability to customize the subreddits that appear on the shortcut menu are my two favorite features of this app. My third is the envelope icon that illuminates when I have a new message or a reply to a comment. Love! Works fine on my Mac OSX.

Fantastic little app that helps me keep track of the subreddit I moderate. It even lets me know when there’s something in the mod queue that needs attention. Reccomended for all Redditors!

Easy to install and sign in, works perfectly and does exactly what it says. Love the fact it tells you your cake day and your comment and post numbers as well. very convienent. compliments my reddit gold very well, will recommend!

Does exactly what it says and nothing more. Notifies me of my messages, without having to constantly check reddit (even though I already do). Great app!

App is simplistic in nature and works exactly as needed. If you want to get instant notifications from reddit, in a minimalistic way, this is a necessity. I really enjoy how unobtrusive icon in the menu bar. Also the dev is very helpful and responds to messages quickly.

It needs to have the ability to have a shortcut to any subreddit, like what it has for /r/reddit_notifier, but for whatever subreddits you like.

Simple solid and functional. Recommended for anyone who wants reddit notifications on their Mac.

I previously had to roll my own php-cli script that pushed notifications to growl…but this saves me from having to do that:) Thanks for an excellent piece of software!

I’ve been using the notifier now for over a year, as I’m both a heavy Reddit user and a moderator of several sub-reddits. No bugs, no problems. It’s always responsive, and always prompt to report updates. The developer knocked it out of the park. Well worth the money!

This latest version fixes the icon not appearing in the Notification Center for me. Otherwise, no other issues I’ve noticed. Great app! ^_^

The only thing that doesn’t seem to work consistently is the ‘Open at login’ option. It’s worked a couple times, but lately I’ve been having to manually start it. Other than that, just what I’ve been looking for!

I wasn’t sure if I would like this app, but I’m proud to say that I love it! It’s so useful and convenient!
